Support System

I just wanted to say what an amazing support system I have.  I know I can do this mission through the love and prayers of others.  It's the ones I love that will help me throughout my entire mission.  Its because of them that I know I will serve a full-time mission.

Mom and Dad

It's all thanks to my greatest examples and hero's which are my parents.  I love them so much and from the moment I made the decision to go on a mission they have been at my side supporting me.  My mother works so hard to make sure I am completely prepared and I know I couldn't do it if my Dad wasn't there with his open arms to help me every step of the way.  It's because of these two that I am even going on a mission and I am so grateful for a father who hold's the priesthood and is worthy of it.  It means so much just to go to him when I need a blessing and I know that he is my example of what I will want in a husband.  I am grateful for the way he loves my mother, if it were not for him I would not have an idea of what true love should look like.  I am so grateful for my mother she is my best friend and she works so hard.  I am grateful for her testimony of missions--I love her so much and I know if it were not for her I wouldn't be who I am at all.  My parents and the lord are my strength when I have nothing else.

Sisters Forever

These two are my best friends.  I love them so much and their examples they are for me in my life.  Although we look alike we are all so completely different its not even funny.  Our family wouldn't be our family in one of us was missing.  Kayla is so easy going and never gets mad and that example is something everyone needs to learn in their life.  Carissa is so competitive but yet has such a tender heart and she is my goofy and funny side.  Even if we are having a bad day it just takes a little silliness from Carissa to make me feel better.  I love these two so much and it's going to be hard to leave them.  But as the oldest sister I hope I can try to be the best example possible (even though I'm not).  They inspire me to do a lot of things and I couldn't do life without these two amazing talented girls in my life.  Don't get us all talking, laughing, or being silly together because we will never ever stop!  I couldn't ask for better sisters to spend my life with and be forever best friends with.

Family
My Jenkins Family is the greatest support ever! I love them so much!

Grandma Jean has been my inspiration and has become one of my best friends.  I love her dearly and
look to her amazing example in my life.
These two have always been there for me and couldn't be more supportive of my mission decision.

This little girl is my little best friend.  I love her and cannot wait to start writing her letters.
She is beautiful and full of life and I couldn't be more grateful for her smile and loving heart.

Kyler is leaving and getting ordained tonight.  I will get to see and hug my cousin in the MTC!! I am so proud
of him and love him so much!  Coolest experience to be in the MTC with your cousin you grew up playing power rangers with.

Friends
I am so grateful for the friend support system I have I means the world to me.  I love every single one of these girls and I know I couldn't do my mission without their amazing influence in my life.

Nicole has been my best friend since I can remember.  We have been through so much together and I will miss her dearly when I am gone.  She is so strong and I couldn't be more proud of who she has become.  I love her so much and I know we will be friends for forever.
Cee and me clicked and I couldn't be more proud of her.  She has been such and inspiration to me and I have learned from her so many things.  She recently got baptized and was an inspiration for me to go on a mission.
She will always be a life long forever friend.
Tanner and Brad have two of my greatest guy friends, I am so grateful for their support!
Chels has been my support and my friend from the moment I stepped into the elementary education
system.
I love this girl Amber!! She has been my best friend since seventh grade and I am grateful
 for her support and friendship.
Love these boys through thick and thin since high school I know these boys will always have
my back and that means the world to me.

Jon has been such an amazing support to me.  We both have something in common
because his mission went into Mississippi!! He has been a dear friend since I was 14 years old!
Miss Ash Bash has been the funnest and greatest friend ever.  I love her so much and her
conversion to the church has also been such a huge inspiration to me.

Overall the lord has truly blessed me with the greatest support system in the world.  I love them and my experiences with every single one of these people.  They are my heaven on earth and I love my life because of them.

Called to Serve

So here we go! I have been called to serve as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Jackson, Mississippi.  I will be entering the MTC on January 2, 2013 and I couldn't be more excited.  I was able to open my mission call on November 14 and I cannot believe how fast the time has flown by since the day I opened it.  It was an amazing experience to have all my family and closest friends there.
Opening that letter made me realize that this is what I am meant to do for the next year and a half.  I couldn't be more excited to go and serve the people of Mississippi.  I know without a doubt in my heart that this is what I am suppose to be doing and I couldn't be more grateful for this opportunity.

I'm not going to lie, going on a mission has not always been in my plans.  I actually grew up not wanting to go on a mission.  But this past year the thought has been lingering in my mind to consider to go.  I kept pushing it aside because I have so many things to do here and people I love that I would never want to leave.  But the thought would never leave.  That announcement that our dear President Monson made, made my mission a huge possibility but not a reality because I still didn't want to go (only in fear I would never get married).
Through deep prayer and scripture study I received my amazing answer to go on a mission.  I will not lie sometimes following the answers we receive are the hardest thing to do-but I have come to this conclusion that would never want to miss out on an opportunity clearly given to me by fate.  Before I officially made my decision to go frustrating events kept happening that seemed to keep pushing my life back--such as crashing another car and struggling to become a level 3 in my elementary education program.  But I know now why these things happened in the time they did.  I am suppose to serve a mission and my sweet heavenly father has prepared my life perfectly for me to go.  It was just up to me to make that decision.
